Enhancing Efficiency in Petrochemical Facilities with Custom Heat Exchangers
Achieving peak performance in petrochemical operations is crucial for staying competitive. Our recent project at a Texas petrochemical facility demonstrates the value of custom-engineered High-Pressure MultiTube Hairpin Heat Exchangers in meeting demanding operational requirements.
Our team designed and installed Ethylene Refrigerant Desuperheaters to optimize cooling processes under strict performance conditions. Each exchanger weighs approximately 22,500 lbs and measures 23’-3" in length, engineered to withstand high pressures of 645 psig on the shell side and 2915 psig on the tube side. These specifications ensure reliable, robust performance in one of the most challenging process environments.
Boosting Operational Performance
The project’s primary challenge was to engineer exchangers capable of managing the high-pressure, high-temperature conditions typical in ethylene cooling applications. Through custom design and precise fabrication, we delivered heat exchangers that integrated seamlessly into the facility’s operations while significantly enhancing efficiency.
To protect long-term performance, we also provide replacement parts and strip-and-retube services, helping clients reduce maintenance costs, minimize downtime, and maximize uptime.
